This modular prefabricated Mass Timber prototype, based on the master thesis from the Master in Mass Timber Design, was presented at the International Congress on Wood Architecture and Design (CIMAD) in Madrid this year. The project emphasizes the benefits of carbon storage in Mass Timber, biophilic design, and sustainability, utilizing wood from sustainably managed forests in the Iberian Peninsula to promote ecotourism and contribute to climate change mitigation.
