Juan Gilberto Bugarin Castillo is an architect with a Master's degree in Mass Timber Design from IAAC. He is currently pursuing a MSc in Sustainable Design, Construction, and Management of the Built Environment as part of 'The MBUILD' program. After completing three semesters at the University of Porto, University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen, and University of Cantabria, he is now conducting his research thesis on 3D Printed Earth Construction (3DPEC) at DigiFEUP 3DC in Porto. Juan actively collaborates remotely with architectural firms in the U.S., Mexico, and Spain, leveraging his expertise across diverse architectural and research projects.

Over ten years of design project management experience and three years of teaching Eco-Design at TecNM. His professional portfolio spans a wide spectrum, encompassing residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use projects, as well as furniture design and fabrication.
